The American Red Cross prevents and alleviates human suffering in the face of emergencies by mobilizing the power of volunteers and the generosity of donors.​ The American Red Cross North Florida Region serves approximately 3.8 million residents in 35 counties. The region includes the Northeast Florida, Capital Area & Northwest Florida chapters.

How do you define success?: Ensuring that the 35 counties we serve are more resilient in the face of disasters.

What excites you most about your industry?: The opportunity each day to make a difference in someone’s life.

What is the biggest challenge you think you or your organization is going to face in the upcoming year?: Climate change is significantly impacting disaster intensity and frequency.

Who is a Trustee in our community that you admire and why?: Jacksonville has many and each has been supportive throughout my time in this role.
