Short company description: Azola Creative helps you transform your website into a sales engine. Whether you’re trying to build and grow your online sales or need to drive more leads to your sales team, we help your website become the #1 sales resource in your organization.

What makes your company unique?: We believe your website should be the single source of truth for all of the sales & marketing you do. Our background comes from over 15 years of E-Commerce leadership with brands such as eBay, Inc. Therefore, we focus heavily on creating an E-Commerce state-of-mind for our clients that include Software as a Service (SaaS) and Healthcare service providers.

How do you define success?: I think success is as much how you achieved your goal as what the end result is. Nothing goes as planned and so the character, experience and wisdom you achieve in reaching your goal is part of the success.

Who in the industry inspires you and why?: It’s not a person as much as character traits of clients and colleagues I work with. Bold personalities, dreamers, artists, writers. I get inspired by people willing to take big chances on themselves.

What is a tip for success that you would provide someone in your same industry?: Marketers are expected to be experts in an so many marketing channels. It sets you and your clients up for failure if you chase everything equally. Find your core strength and know that it’s enough to be successful.

What excites you most about your industry?: The ability to be creative at every turn. Whether it’s solving a complicated client challenge, writing new content or designing a sales and marketing asset, I get to be creative all the time.

What is the biggest challenge you think you or your organization is going to face in the upcoming year?: The biggest challenge is always trust and expectations from prospective clients. The website and digital marketing space is extremely saturated from solopreneurs to international corporations offering similar services. Unfortunately, marketing can be perceived as snake-oil sales for many people because it’s easy to buy the wrong solution.

Who is a Trustee in our community that you admire and why?: I’m a member of a peer group called SMB Turnkey Solutions. The goal of our group is to support one another throughout our entrepreneurial lifecycle. From insurance to legal, HR, finance, we provide council to each other about different challenges and it helps us provide better services to our clients.
