Meet the Leader of the Vision
Wendy Norfleet, Ph.D.
Dr. Wendy Norfleet, author, keynote speaker, and community leader, is the Chief Executive Officer of Norfleet Integrated Solutions. In this capacity, she leads a team of highly qualified professionals who work with individuals and corporations to provide strategic and innovative solutions that scale businesses and grow leaders. Wendy is driven by her desire to inspire and develop others, and among her strengths are her extensive leadership experience, comprehensive business knowledge, unwavering determination, and vast information technology background. She thrives on challenges, particularly those that benefit her clients.
With her extensive background in Information Technology (IT) and higher education, Wendy is well-suited to lead NIS. Dr. Norfleet started in entry-level IT positions and worked her way up to become Director of Information Technology, giving her firsthand experience on how to develop and position oneself for future positions. After almost 20 years in the IT industry, Wendy transitioned to higher education. She held various positions at Florida State College at Jacksonville, University of Detroit Mercy, and Wayne State University, including but not limited to Instructional Designer, Adjunct Professor, Curriculum Development Specialist, Assistant Professor, Professor, Dean of Technology, and Interim Campus President.
Dr. Norfleet is known for her dedication to giving back. Wendy serves as the current program chair of the Jacksonville Chamber IT Council and as a board member of the Cathedral Arts Program (CAP), Women Business Owners of Northeast Florida, and SBDC Advisory Council. In addition, she generously gives her time to volunteer for Take Stock in Children and JDRF and is an active alumna of Leadership Jacksonville. Wendy’s leadership, service, and business expertise have earned her recognition as a 2020 Women of Influence, 2021 Small Business Leader of the Year, 2021 Corporate Vision Award for Best Business Consulting and Coaching Company in North Florida, and 2023 Top Entrepreneur.
