Short company description: Glimmer Learning is a company specializing in virtual engagement training and coaching for leaders and established speakers to help them increase the impact of their message and maximize their results. What makes your company unique?: I believe that everyone has a story to share. I enjoy partnering with my clients to bring out their authenticity through their voice and visuals to ensure they connect with their audience. This works whether it’s to sell a product or service or simply a passionate message for a special cause.
How do you define success?: Success is not about money or a quantity of any kind to me. Success is knowing that I supported someone and helped them with their business. I love seeing people learn and grow to a place that they didn’t realize was inside of them all along.
Who in the industry inspires you and why?: I am a big fan of Jasmine Star. Many people may have heard of her a few years back when she first was discovered as a photographer but now she is helping small business owners by the thousands with social media marketing. She is an inspiration because she shares her heart and soul with her followers and subscribers, doing it all…podcasts, FB lives, trainings, photoshoots, and a new mom. She truly wants her subscribers to succeed by giving them all the tools they need and cheering them on with personal messages along the way.
What is a tip for success that you would provide someone in your same industry?: Be patient and work with everyone you know. Don’t be shy at asking for referrals. Growing your business is like growing a garden, not every seed flourishes but some grow bright and beautiful.
What excites you most about your industry?: The reachability and visibility! The virtual stage has taken the world by storm and now it is definitely here to stay. I love how people have embraced the change and are taking advantage of the many benefits to expand and grow their business.
What is the biggest challenge you think you or your organization is going to face in the upcoming year?: Keeping up with the rapid changes in technology as it relates to virtual events. There are many different platforms, equipment, etc. that are popping up and it can be over-whelming to stay educated on them all.
