Short company description:

The mission of We are HYPE is to support youth academic and athletic development in a safe and secure environment that promotes sports as recreation, lifestyle, and a trade with career opportunities accessible to under-resourced, at-risk youth.

How do you define success?

To me success is defined by the ability to persevere through circumstances or obstacles that we are presented with. I am often very hard on myself because I feel I should be further along in my life and career, but then I look back and see where I’ve come from and realize that I am successful. Success will look and be different for everyone. As long as we persevere and continue to get out of bed in the morning and fight to reach our goals then we are successful.

What are your biggest goals in the next 12 Months for your business?

Finish our website, have a successful Spring and Summer with our Developmental Basketball Program that we are starting, increase our participation with our School Supply drives, and to have our 1st Annual Change a Life Shootout Golf Tournament be a success.
