What makes your company unique?: In addition to being the strongest-rated company in the US (along with Microsoft), the largest insurer of lives, & the 4th largest Independent Broker Dealer, we have a proprietary planning software created with research by Ernst & Young that strategically optimizes income distribution.

How do you define success?: Success is living a positively- & faithfully impactful life that by virtual of it’s impact, creates happiness and internal peace.

Who in the industry inspires you and why?: There are a number of impactful people in this industry. They include anyone who consistently leads (productivity) and provides leadership (helps others grow). There are too many to name, but my team is lead by one (Ben Gantt).

What is a tip for success that you would provide someone in your same industry?: Select a company which aligns with your morals & ethics, understand what these are (both for yourself and the company), and focus on providing the best quality advice and service. Being true to yourself and aligned with a company that is also will make work aligned with your personal self leading to a satisfying career.

What excites you most about your industry?: What excites me most is the positive impact technology has (and is evolving to provide) in helping people actualize their options and their achieve their desired financial futures.

What is the biggest challenge you think you or your organization is going to face in the upcoming year?: The biggest challenge is always about reaching people who are not focused on their future selves, or who have “tucked away” the topic of planning because they made some assumptions (which may no longer be correct).

Who is a Trustee in our community that you admire and why?: Steve Evans is a mentor to more people that anyone I know. He provides guidance & mentoring to so many others and without consideration (pay).
