LaTanya Wynn-Hall is a head Start Grantee serving over 1400 of the most vulnerable children( ages 6 wks – 5 yrs) of poverty in our community.

What makes your company unique?: The program options available to families and community partnerships with school district, charter school, childcare providers and family childcare home
How do you define success?: Success is defined through quality services delivery; making an impact and achieving/attaining outcomes
Who in the industry inspires you and why?: The new Office of Head Start Director, Dr. Bernadine Futrell. A former Head Start child, now appointed by President Biden to lead the the nations programs
What is a tip for success that you would provide someone in your same industry?: Hire quality staff; build and sustain a strong team to deliver services. Provide them with the support, guidance and assistance to do their jobs well and hold individuals accountable
What excites you most about your industry?: The awesome opportunity to provide services to the underserved, most vulnerable children and families. Provide the resources and services to improve and prepare them for life
What is the biggest challenge you think you or your organization is going to face in the upcoming year?: Providing COVID safe quality services to children and families and keeping staff safe
Who is a Trustee in our community that you admire and why?: Bishop Rudolph McKissick Sr ( My Bishop Emeritus) at 93 years young still proclaiming the Gospel and serving his community
