What makes your company unique?: 31 years of gathering tools to help all sizes and shapes of leaders and managers get better.

How do you define success?: Success for me is people applying and putting into action the concepts and practices I teach.

Who in the industry inspires you and why?: Ken Blanchard – he developed a process that has stood the test of time AND he practices what he teaches, talks about, and writes about.

What is a tip for success that you would provide someone in your same industry?: Take the time to create your teachable point of view.

What excites you most about your industry?: I believe that every organization rises and falls on the strength of their leadership and leadership practices.

What is the biggest challenge you think you or your organization is going to face in the upcoming year?: There is a lot of pent up demand in the leadership development space. In any crisis, one of the first things that gets put on the back burner is leadership development and training. It’s possible that demand is going to surpass capacity.

Who is a Trustee in our community that you admire and why?: Not 100% sure I understand how broad you mean “trustee” to be but I would say John Rutherford… our congressman. Through a couple of interactions that I have had with him on Jacksonville and in Washington, DC as well as his regular email, he has given me a broader perspective that a lot of good is going on government that we rarely hear about in the various news streams.
