What makes your company unique?: As a former Chief Operating Officer of a federal government contractor, I bring insights of managing the day to day of a small business. I come in and work with the business owner and take on the process of implementing their priorities so that they can focus on the bigger picture. I not only look at the strategies, but the systems to ensure continued efficiency.

How do you define success?: Working with a customer that can finally look beyond their day-to-day issues, can breathe knowing they understand the federal market and has steady incoming opportunities to pursue. They have a system in place that reduces redundancy, improves communication and streamlines operations.

Who in the industry inspires you and why?: The founder of a business always inspires me because they took the chance to branch out on their own and invest in their passions.

What is a tip for success that you would provide someone in your same industry?: Take one step at a time and realize that it doesn’t have to be perfect.

What excites you most about your industry?: There are constant moving parts, and it is exciting to see the difference between when the parts aren’t working in sync to when they are. I enjoy seeing the transformations that can occur when a business has overcome their hurdle whether that is learning the federal market space or having synergy in their operations.

What is the biggest challenge you think you or your organization is going to face in the upcoming year?: I think the challenge is learning and implementing new concepts to continue to grow my business.

Who is a Trustee in our community that you admire and why?: Janice Donaldson has been someone I admire for her work in the Jax small business community.
