Short company description:
We’re a global engineering, management, and development firm. Our purpose is to improve society by considering social outcomes in everything we do, relentlessly focusing on excellence and digital innovation, transforming our clients’ businesses, our communities, and employee opportunities. We call it opening opportunities with connected thinking.
How do you define success?
Above all, having 3 young children who love me, is the ultimate. I yearn and desire to help others; I’ve made a career of it. So, if I can go to sleep knowing that I helped someone, somewhere, today, no matter how large or small the gesture, then I am fulfilled in that piece in my heart.
What are your biggest goals in the next 12 Months for your business?
I am not speaking on behalf of Mott MacDonald. I am more inclined to talk about the growth strategy that I am championing for NAMI Jacksonville, as I sit on their Board of Directors. We have laid a fantastic foundation of free offerings, advocacy, and support in our community. To progress, we now need to strategize on our organizational structure, career pathing, and compensations. I am excited and eager to be leading that charge.
What’s your favorite way to get involved in the community?
Volunteering – 100%. And through my work as a member of 2 non-profit Boards in Jacksonville – NAMI and Junior League.
